Plagiocephaly, or flat head syndrome, is a condition when a flat spot develops on the side(s) or back of a baby’s head due to constant uneven pressure on the skull. This causes the baby’s head to look asymmetrical.
A baby’s skull bones don’t fully fuse and harden until several months after birth. Especially in the first 3 months, the skull is still malleable thus the baby’s head might change in shape.

Pillow Core:
The pillow core is made from memory foam, thus it cannot be washed as it will ruin the pillow core material. We recommend cleaning it with a disinfectant fabric spray (eg. Febreeze) then air dry indoors.
DO NOT hand wash or machine wash – pillow core material will be damaged.
DO NOT expose to direct sunlight – will cause pillow core material to deteriorate easily.
Pillow Cover:
The pillow cover is made with modal fabric, we recommend washing with water. Aside from machine wash, we suggest washing the pillow cover by hand for safer cleaning and better hygiene.
DO NOT wash with softener – to prevent damage to the modal fabric that will cause pillow cover to deform.
DO NOT expose or dry under direct sunlight – as it will damage the modal fabric structure, making it difficult for future washing.
